The Board of Directors brings mission-based leadership to strengthen commercial fishing in the Prince William Sound region and provides strategic governance in accordance with organizational bylaws.
Member-ballot election will be held September 1-30, 2024.
Nomination information
We are actively seeking nominations for board leadership in the following seats on the 2024 CDFU ballot:

Eligible candidates:
Only those with current CDFU membership may nominate a fisherman (yes, you can nominate yourself!)
Nominees for non-general seats must hold an applicable active permit.
Nominees must hold current CDFU membership before being added to official ballots.
Quick info:
Board meetings are held monthly (outside of summer season).
Board members can attend meetings in person in CDFU’s Cordova office, or via video conference.
Seat terms are 2 years. Seats on the 2024 ballot serve from when confirmed by the board in the fall through 2026.
Board members serve to carry out a strategic plan and act in compliance with CDFU organizational bylaws, articles, protocols, policies and procedures.
