HB 33 - BOF Conflict of Interest Bill

The Board of Fish Conflict of Interest Bill needs out help to get over the line.
Currently, BOF members who have a conflict (a family member in that fishery for example) cannot sit at the table and share their experiences. This bill allows BOF Members to share their knowledge, ask questions of ADFG that only they might know to ask, etc.

Support HB 33 to improve how conflicts of interest are handled on the Alaska Board of Fisheries.
Board members with a conflict should be allowed to participate in discussion and deliberation.
Experienced board members often have deep subject-matter knowledge. Excluding them entirely removes valuable expertise from the room.
