CDFU advocates for the Prince William Sound commercial fishing community, uniting fishermen to foster the strongest future for our industry.
Since 1935, we have represented fishermen and their families for thriving fisheries - fisheries that sustain regional ecosystems, communities, and ways of life. CDFU ensures all harvesters in the region are well-informed, resourced, and mobilized to affect positive change.
CDFU is non-allocative. Our board leadership consists of fishermen representing all gear groups who stand together on the critical issues facing our fisheries. Year-round, board and staff are at work behind-the-scenes, advocating on behalf of the Area E commercial fishing industry issues on local, state, and federal levels.
